October is ADHD Awareness Month in each year
SAHK has started the EASE children supporting program from 2011. The program has been specially designed for primary school year 1 to year 6 children who diagnosed with ADHD. Focusing on training around the top three difficulties i.e. Attention, Self- Management and Emotional Management arose from the executive dysfunction of the brain, in order to raise the children’s ability of execution and improve their quality of life and strengthen their learning abilities. This program also take care of the parent’s needs, relief their pressure on handling children’s behavior and discipline. Moreover, the program assist schools on providing support to the ADHD students.
The EASE program is all year round and provided by the Lok Fu and Shatin centre. For the details and any enquiries, please call or email to SAHK.
