Induction Visit Enhances Governance Effectiveness
Members of the Association's council members and management committee frequently made induction visit to service units in order to understand the units’ daily operation. For example, Mr. Mason S. T. WU (Honorary Treasurer), Mrs. Leanne H. Y. LU CHU (Council Member), Prof. Engle Angela CHAN, Mr. Benson S. B. CHENG, Mr. Billy H. W. TAM (Members of Adult Service Management Committee), Sr. Dr. James S. L. TSUI (Member of Corporate Communication Advisory Committee), Mr. Edmond Y. P. LAU, Edmond (Chief Executive Officer), Mr. Kenneth K. L. LEE, Mrs. Dawn S. F. TANG LIU (Deputy Chief Executive Officer), and Ms. Angel W. Y. FAN (Head of Children and Family Support Service) visited Lung Hang Pre-school Centre and Shek Wai Kok Parents Resource Centre on 9th October 2025. In addition to examining the units’ environment and observing service users in action, they also received reports from the units’ colleagues and exchanged views, which proved highly beneficial for enhancing the Association's governance effectiveness.
