Hong Kong Yacht Club Sailing Experience Day
The service users of the Association’s Leung King Hostel, arranged by the Hong Kong Yacht Club, embarked on their first sailing trip. This was not just a sailing experience, but also a social adaptation training exercise.
On the day of the trip, staff members took the service users by bus from Leung King in Tuen Mun to Causeway Bay, walked through a bustling shopping mall and a tunnel, and from the typhoon shelter shore to Kellett Island. For the curious service users, even before boarding the yacht, it was already a fantastic journey.
The 5 service users and staff members boarded the yacht and sailed through Victoria Harbour, enjoying the beautiful scenery on both sides. The trip concluded with the firing of the "Noonday Gun". Thanks to the Hong Kong Yacht Club for the arrangement, the service users were able to step out of their usual social circles and interact with different people in society.
