Three Schools Graduation Gala Fully Supported by Council and Guests

The joint graduation ceremony for the academic year 2024-2025, organised by 3 special schools under the Association—Ko Fook Iu Memorial School, B M Kotewall Memorial School and Jockey Club Elaine Field School—was held on 8 July at the Heung Yee Kuk New Territories Building, Shatin. Over 800 participants including students from 3 special schools, parents, guests, and staff attended. The theme, "Crossing Milestones - Three Schools Celebrate Together,” marked the 50th anniversary of B M Kotewall Memorial School and the 45th anniversaries of both Jockey Club Elaine Field School and Ko Fook Iu Memorial School. Graduates performed a medley of 3 popular songs to express their best wishes to classmates. The ceremony involved issuing graduation certificates, presenting prizes, and scholarships , guest speeches delivering, and presenting gift by students. This was followed by a series of student performances including brass band, magic, and wheelchair martial arts.

On that day, Mrs. LI HO Suk Wa, Principal Education officer and then Principal Assistant Secretary of the Education Bureau was invited as the guest of honour, while Mrs. Josephine M. W. TSUI PANG, BBS, MH, the Chairperson of the Association, several other council members, and Mr. Edmond Y. P. LAU, Chief Executive Officer, also attended to support the students, creating a warm and lively atmosphere.
