Mr. Peter VAN ZUIDEN, trustee of the Van Zuiden Charity Trust, Visit to Greenery Villa
On May 28, Mr. Peter VAN ZUIDEN, trustee of the Van Zuiden Charity Trust, visited Greenery Villa. He was warmly welcomed by the Association's Vice Chairpersons, Mr. David P. W. YAU and Mr. Benjamin K. M. WONG along with Chairperson of the Conductive Education Advisory Committee, Mr. FONG Cheung Fat, Association’s then General Secretary, Mrs. CHONG WONG Chor Sar, Chief Executive Officer Mr. Edmond Y. M. LAU, and Deputy Chief Executive Officer Mr. Kenneth K. L. LEE.
During the visit, Ms. Vicky K. M. LEE, the superintendent of Greenery Villa, accompanied the guests on a tour of the various facilities. These included a dormitory area equipped with a facial recognition anti-wandering system, a smart exercise zone, a medication management department with an automated medication packaging system, a café serving light meals providing internship opportunities for trainees, and other meticulously planned spaces. This tour allowed Mr. VAN ZUIDEN to observe the living conditions of the service users.
After the tour, Mrs. Josephine M. W. TSUI PANG, BBS, MH, Chairperson of the Association, specially joined everyone for lunch. She expressed the Association's gratitude to Mr. VAN ZUIDEN and the Charity Trust, hoping that the collaboration between the two organisations would continue to help more people in need.
