Associations inclusion with dragon boat team for their 7th win in a row
The Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Races (HKIDBR) were resumed this past weekend after a four-year hiatus, with deafening drumming and cheering along the Tsim Sha Tsui East waterfront. The same dragon boat race was staged in many districts during the Dragon Boat Festival last week. Members and volunteers of the Association's Shek Wai Kok Parents Resource Centre once again formed a dragon boat team to take part in the Dragon Boat Race (特能共融中龍邀請賽 "行樂國際基金會盃”(Chinese only) at Sai Kung Pier. After a lapse of three years, "一舉成龍" (Chinese only) once again took part in the race with 10 members and 14 volunteers, including six members of the volunteer team of Conpak CPA Limited. The team had a good understanding of each other, and the paddles followed the sound of the drums in a synchronized manner, resulting in an unstoppable spattering of water. The "一舉成龍" team won the first place in their division in both races, and finally came in first place overall to win the championship. The Association would like to congratulate the participating teams for their outstanding performance and thank them for achieving the seventh consecutive championship. We would also like to express our gratitude to the volunteers of Conpak CPA Limited for their full support and sponsorship of the event!
