All Pre-school Centres of the Association had won the Inviting School Award
2022 IAIE world conference took place earlier. The Association’s Cheung Shan Pre-school Centre and On Tai Pre-school Centre win the Inviting Schools Award this year. After years of hard working, all nine pre-school centres of the Association had won the Inviting Schools Award.
Invitational Education (IE) is a theory of practice that when implemented through 5Ps, the people, places, policies, programs, and processes of the school. It aims to create and maintain a good learning environment that intentionally and cordially invites individuals to realise their full potential and enjoy academic success in a joyful, collaborative learning environment.
The Association committed to implement Conductive Education principles all the time. Through combining education and rehabilitation using a holistic approach, the Association provides all round support for the children. In believing every child has their own talent and value, under combining conductive education and invitational education approach, the Association provides them with a good learning and growth environment.
2022 IAIE world conference took place online on 18th and 19th November 2022. The Inviting School Award ceremony was held on the first day. Ms Dawn S. F. TANG, the Association’s Head (Children and Family Support Service), Ms April O. Y. LAI, Deputy Head (Children and Family Support Service), Ms Debbie W. M. TSANG, Superintendent of Cheung Shan Pre-school Centre and Ms K. L. TZE, Superintendent of On Tai Pre-school Centre attended the ceremony together. The two Pre-school Centre superintendents attended the second day conference and online shared their experiences on implementing invitational education.
