60th Anniversary Kick-off Ceremony
The Association 60th Anniversary Kick-off Ceremony (the Kick-off Ceremony) was held at the Government House on 2 March. The HON John LEE Ka-chiu, GBM, SBS, PDSM, PMSM, The Chief Executive of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region officiated at the Kick-off Ceremony. The Chief Executive’s wife, the Association’s Patron Mrs. Janet LEE and many honourable guests, including the Association’s Council and Committee Members, government officials, corporate partners, guests from charitable foundations, NGOs and educational institutions attended the Kick-off Ceremony.
Chairperson of the Association, Mrs. Josephine M. W. TSUI PANG, MH and the HON John LEE Ka-chiu, GBM, SBS, PDSM, PMSM, The Chief Executive of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region gave a speech during the Kick-off Ceremony. Mrs. PANG thanked the society for the long -term support. She also briefly described the past and future of the Association. Mr. LEE affirmed the Association's years of efforts in his speech, and hoped that the government and the Association would continue to work together to build a caring society together.
