The Association’s JC A-Connect (Family Support) showed support to parents with ASD children

As the epidemic is still raging, children have to switch to different modes to continue learning. Somehow it is more difficult for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) to adapt and at the same time, this may create challenges and tension to their parents. In light of this, the Association’s Jockey Club Autism Support Network (Family Support) organised a campaign on DIY New Year greetings card. The activity received overwhelming responses. With more than 600 pieces of cards with handwritten supportive messages drawn by the public, including the elderly, working teens with ASD, parents and social work students, etc. All cards and gift bags were sent to the parents who had children with ASD so as to encourage them to stay positive and live in hope.
