Supporting Parents during the pandemic
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Association’s "Pilot Scheme on Social Work Service for Pre-primary Institutions” continued to provide services for the families affected by the pandemic. Apart from delivered protective gears to them, the team also distributed food pack to the families in partnership with social enterprise "Delicious Express” under the support of "Hang Lung Novel Coronavirus Relief Fund”.
There were worksheets for parent-child activities in the food pack which encouraged parents and children to practice "Love Language” during class suspension, and to express appreciation and care to families in daily life. Thereby strengthening the positive parent-child relationship.
Parents and children cooked the food packs together which empowered parent-child relationship. The dishes looked tasty and nutritious.
