The Association’s 2 dragon boat teams had outstanding performances in the competition
The Association’s two adaptive dragon boat teams joined the 2019 Summer Vigor Mini Dragon Boat Races organised by the Hong Kong Amateur Dragon Boat Association on 22 September 2019, one team formed by Jockey Club Elaine Field School, Hong Kong Federation of Handicapped Youth and DragonWolf Paddling Team, while the other team formed by parents and youth members of the Shek Wai Kok Parents Resource Centre. The competition was introduced for persons with disabilities to pair-up with the able-bodied to race as team in order to promote social inclusion. At last, Jockey Club Elaine Field School’s dragon boat team came the second and Shek Wai Kok Parents Resource Centre’s team came the fifth in the ADBA Community Integration Invitation Cup. The Association would like to congratulate the awarded athletes.
