The Association’s service users received awards from the painting competition

In response to World Autism Awareness Day, the Hong Kong Autism Awareness Alliance had co-organised a paint competition for individual with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) with several organisations. It is aimed to provide a platform for the person with ASD to unleash their potential. In return, the public could understand more about their inner thoughts and feelings through their drawings.

The winning entries were selected by the judging panel consisted of arts, education and healthcare professional, also the representatives of parent groups. A total of 6 service users from the Association’s East Kowloon Parents Resource Centre had won a number of awards. They participated in the prize presentation ceremony which held at EDB Kowloon Tong Education Services Centre on 13 April 2019. The Association would like to congratulate all the awarded service users.

Junior Primary Category:
Champion: Yuen Pak Lun
Merit Award: Wan Tsz Hin, Leung Kwing Nok, Zeki

Senior Primary Category:
Merit Award: Lai Chi Fan, Leung Tsz King

Secondary Category:
1st Runner Up: Spedding Herbert Kinghim
