Make good use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication to break down communication barriers

Ms LAM Jody Pui Yee, a speech therapist of the Jockey Club Marion Fang Conductive Learning Centre of the Association, interviewed by The Hong Kong Association Of Speech Therapists(HKAST) earlier. She shared how to use the Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) to help the children with severe oral communication difficulties and physical disabilities. When communication becomes easier, children will be more active in expressing themselves, enhancing self-confidence, and greatly improving daily social interaction and learning.
