SAHK 60th Anniversary Celebration — The Relationship between Innovative Technology and Rehabilitation Training
For the past 60 years, the Association continuously provide professional and high quality rehabilitation services for wide range of persons with disabilities at all ages. To celebrate the Association's 60th anniversary, 12 short episodes will be launched with professional’s advice on different health fields and vocational rehabilitation issues. This episode will focus on the theme of ‘The Relationship between Innovative Technology and Rehabilitation Training’
Persons with severe disabilities have been facing a lot of difficulties during rehabilitation training, including difficulty in confirming correct postures due to lack of body perception, and being bored with traditional repetitive training movements, thus reducing the users’ desire to train, Ms Venus HO, the Occupational Therapist I of the Association, introduced the new technology rehabilitation equipment recently introduced by the New Territories West Integrated Community Rehabilitation Centre (ICRC) of the Association. It provides targeted training to make it easier for people with disabilities to master training tips and also feel the interests of training. Please watch the video for details.
